February 7, 2006 Britney Spears was caught in a photo with baby Sean Preston on her lap, instead of being in his seatbelt. No so bad? She was driving in Malibu while the picture was taken. Photos were taken by X17 who states, "These pictures were taken in a very peaceful context, in which photographers exhibited no aggressive behavior. We believe the pictures speak for themselves."
This prompted The Department of Child Services to be called about the safety of Sean Preston. The LA Sheriff department was called by DCFS to speak with Britney. Spears issed the statment that she, "was terrified that this time the physically aggressive paparazzi would put both me and my baby in danger. I instinctively took measures to get my how long does weed stay in your system baby and me out of harm's way..."
Like most I was shocked upon hearing this. I don't really think that there is any justifiable reason for having a four-month old on your lap while driving. Especially, when her bodyguard is sitting right next to her. Why not have him in the back seat and hand baby Sean Preston back to him so that he could be put in the carseat? Well, I guess we shall just have to sit back and wait to see what happens.

It's official! Britney Spears has given birth to a boy. Spears delivered by a Caesarean section at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center in California at 12:57 in the afternoon. This is the first child for Britney and the third for her husband Kevin.
The couple has posted this on her website: "We are ecstatic to announce the birth of our son! Everyone is happy, healthy and doing wonderful. Thank you for all your love and well wishes!!"

Britney and Kevin have named their little one, Sean Preston. The baby weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces. Baby Sean arrived a day before the couples one year anniversary. Britney and Kevin arrived by police escort Wednesday morning at the hospital accompanied with her bodyguards. Her mother and Kevin were both present during the C-Section. It was an emotional moment for all, and so Good Luck and Congratulations!

Rumors of Britney Spear's being pregnant have been around since last summer while she was engaged to former backup dancer, Kevin Federline. Last week it was speculated that Britney is three months along and is definetly pregnant. Britney has not hid the fact that she would like to start a family with her husband and become a mother. In fact she has stopped smoking and dying her hair blonde-which is very important in her condition. She wrote on her website to fans:
The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together" Britney is expected to have a fall due date-but has kept the actual date private. There have been rumors that she is carrying twins, but her mother, Lynn has denied those rumors. There is no definite source as to whether she is having a boy or a girl. What ever she is having her fans support her 100% as you can check with any of the Britney fan club websites.
Many people, including me seem to have a problem with Kevin and his smoking-especially around Britney and her unborn baby. As many people know that second-hand smoking is dangerous for everyone around you especially a fetus. Second-hand smoking can cause the fetus's heart rate to increase and the lungs and air passages to be under developed. The carbon monoxide from the cigarette also causes the fetus to receive lower amounts of oxygen-causing low birth weight. So, I guess all we can say is:

Britney's younger sister Jamie has added in her online journal that "I like being in LA, because I get to spend a lot of time with Britney. We're getting ready for the new baby's arrival in September!" So September, it looks like will be the big month for Britney. In the latest news the Britney's due date is September 23!
